Regional Competition for the Visual Identification of Tolerance

Regional Competition for the Visual Identification of Tolerance

In cooperation with the Australian Embassy in Belgrade, Heartefact announces a competition for visual artists for the creation of the visual identification of TOLERANCE.

The independent, regional, cultural organization Heartefact, with the support of the Australian Embassy in Belgrade, is calling artists and designers to participate in the

COMPETITION

for the creation of a visual identity of tolerance

Tolerance is the respect, acceptance, and gratitude toward a rich culture of diverse expressions and understandings of what it means to “be human.” In our turbulent and multicultural society, tolerance is necessary more than ever before to preserving harmony. Tolerance raises a society in which every individual feels they are valued and able to contribute to the further development and construction of their society. In order to easily affirm the importance of tolerance, Heartefact would like to create a logo representing the notion. The logo would serve as a way to clearly communicate and promote tolerance to the general public.

In the first selection round, a jury will select five to ten finalists whose work will be displayed in a collective exhibition during Tolerance Week, which will take place during September 11 to 18. The winner will be announced during the exhibition. The winning prize consists of a monetary award and the use of the design as the official symbol of tolerance in all official project and media activities of The Heartefact Foundation and its partners.
